Motihari: Anupam Kumar, Block development officer (BDO), Belaganj block in Gaya district, has allegedly been asked by CPI( Maoist) to resign from the service and leave Gaya within 15 days failing which he alongwith with the block office would be blown up by dynamite.
BDO Kumar said that he received a threatening letter through post office at the BDO office on Monday. BDO Kumar said he has informed DM Kumar Ravi and SSP Garima Mallik about it and they had assured of appropriate action
in this regard. The police has beefed up security of BDO and his office at Belaganj.
