Uchiyama upsets Prajnesh in SFs of ATP Shanghai Challenger

Patna : Top seed Prajnesh Gunneswaran, 29, India, lost to World No 165 Yasutaka Uchiyama, 27, Japan, in the semi-finals of ATP Shanghai Challenger in China on September 14, 2018. Uchiyama, the 4th seed, beat World No 85 Prajnesh 7-6, 6-4 to the final of the tournament played on hard court.

Uchiyama will play the winner of the second semi-finals match between 3rd seed and World No 141 Yuichi Sugita, Japan, and Di Wu, 27, China, in the final. Wu Di has won the first set 6-4. In the second set the score is 4-4.
