Two petrol employees shot at & injured by criminals at Lauriya

Motihari : Unidentified bike borne criminals shot at and injured two employees of  Balaji Automobile Petrol Pump at Lauriya  under Gobindganj police station in East Champaran District in North Bihar in broad daylight and  looted a bag containing Rs 12 lakh from them on August 26, 2019. But, the locals challenged the criminals forcing them to dump the bag containing cash  near the  place of occurrence.

Jyoti Prakash, SDPO, Areraj, talking to this scribe said  the criminals shot at  the petrol pump employees Bharat Bhushan Singh  and Anand Gupta.Both of them were rushed to Motihari Sadar Hospital. He said  that  the criminalshad come  to kill  Bharat Bhushan Singh  but they  missed the target. Bharat Bhushan Singh sustained leg injury.

According to police sources, injured Bharat Bhushan Singh, in his statement to police, said  he hasd lodged a criminal  case   against five persons of Gobindganj and the trial of the case  is in advanced stage so the accused of this case  had hatched a  plan to eliminate him. Police are conducting raids  to arrest the  persons  involved in the attack on petrol pump employees. East Champaran SP Upendra Kumar Sharma also visited the  petrol pump at Lauriya.
