Two persons make abortive bid to commit suicide at Ara, hospitalised

Ara : Two persons including a woman tried to commit suicide by consuming poison at village Lahthan under Agiao Bazaar police station in Bhojpur district on August 11, 2019. The villagers rushed them to Ara Sadar Hospital where their condition is stated to be critical. They were identified as Bijay Singh and his daughter-in-law (bahu).

The reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained. Police are investigating into the matter. SHO, Agiao Bazaar police station, said that Pintu Singh, son of Bijay Singh of village Lahthan works at a private firm in another state and only his father and wife Rinku Devi lived at the village. He said that Rinku consumed poison on August 11 morning to commit suicide and later Binay Singh also consumed the same poison. The villagers rushed them to Ara Sadar Hospital in critical condition.
