Sasaram : Two persons including a minor boy were killed while eight persons were injured in a road accident near Dinara Petrol pump on Ara-Mohania NH-30 in Rohtas district on January 31, 2020, evening.
Police brought the bodies over to Sasaram Sadar Hospital for post-mortem and admitted the injured there. The deceased were identified as Aditya Kumar, 4, son of Rajesh Paswan, and Ritesh Paswan, 25, son of Rajendra Paswan. The injured were identified as Mamata Devi, Yashoda Devi, Binda Devi, Indu Devi, Lav Kumar, Umesh Paswan, Sarvajeet Paswan, and Dharmendra Kumar. The deceased and injured belonged to a family of Khalasaapur under Dinara police station in Rohtas district. Police seized the Magic van .
SHO, Dinara police station, Siyaram Singh, said that the deceased and the injured were travelling by a Magic Van and when they reached near Dinara Petrol Pump on Ara-Mohania NH-30, a speeding truck collided head on with the van killing two persons on the spot and injuring eight others. Later, the driver escaped with the truck. Police have seized the Magic van .
