Muzaffarpur : Two residents of a colony located near Faridpur Naya Haat under Sakra block in Muzaffarpur district in North Bihar on September 3, 2018, late evening due to food poisoning.
In fact, four out of 7 members of Sanjay Mahto’s family had fallen ill after taking lunch on September 3 of which his wife Dulari Devi and grandson Prashant died while other members Poonam Devi and her son Abhinav are undergoing treatment at a hospital. The family members suspect that pointed gourd (Parwal) consumed by the four members had trace of pesticide. Police are inquiring into the incident.
