Patna : Police have arrested two persons on charge of honour killing and recovered the body of a girl buried under  sand near river Sone in Bihta in Patna district. Patna SSP Manu Maharaaj had received information about the honour killing.
Police said that the incident took place at village Itawa where a teenage girl had developed illicit relation with
someone which was strongly opposed her family members. When the girl’s family members found the girl adamant, they allegedly murdered her. Later, they took the body close to river Sone where they buried it.
As Patna SSP received information about it, he directed the local police to look into the matter. A police team recovered girl’s body and later identified her.
Police also arrested Kusum Devi and Parasnath Mahto of village Itawa in this connection. During interrogation, they revealed that the girl was murdered with consent of her family members.
