Two minor girls killed, 2 injured in road msihap near Ara

Ara : Two sisters were killed and  their brothers injured in a road accident near Housing Colony at Chandawa under Nawada police station, Ara, in Bhojpur district on February 18, 2019, night.

Police brought the bodies over to Sadar Hospital, Ara, for post-mortem and admitted the injured there. The deceased were identified as Khushi Kumari, 8, and Sonali Kumari, 10, daughters of Manish Kumar of Jagdeonagar locality under Nawada police station. The injured were identified as Aman Kumar, 5, and his cousin Sourabh Kumar alias Golu, 25, of Panwari Mathia under Sikarhatta police station. Manish Kumar, father of the deceased, is a driver and a resident of village Amai under Hasanbazaar police outpost who lived in Jagdeonagar locality under Nawada police station.

SHO, Nawada police station, said that Sourabh Kumar had gone on a stroll on his motorcycle along with his maternal sisters : Sonali Kumari, Khushi Kumari, and his maternal brother Aman Kumar, towards Chandawa but his motorcycle was trapped in a deep ditch on road and all of them fell on the ground. In the meantime, a speeding truck ran over Sonal Kumari and Khushi Kumari killing them on spot and injuring Sourabh Kumar and Aman Kumar.
