Two matriculation examinees killed, brother injured in BHojpur accident

Ara : Two matriculation examinees were killed and their brother was seriously injured when a speeding Pick-Up van collided head on with their motorcycle near village Ramdatahi under Karnamepur Police Outpost in Bhojpur district on February 22, 2019.

Police brought the bodies to Sadar Hospital, Ara, for post-mortem and admitted the injured there. The deceased were identified as Anita Kumari and her sister Subi Kumari, daughters of Krishna Turaha of village Bishupur under Karnamepur Police Outpost, while the injured was identified as Rahul Kumar. Police seized the Pick-Up van.

SHO, Karnamepur Police Outpost, Santosh Kumar, said that Rahul Kumar was taking his sisters : Anita Kumari and Subi Kumari, to the examination centre at Bihia on his motorcycle. When he reached near Sadguru Ashram at village Ramdatahi  under Karnamepur Police Outpost on Shahpur-Karnamepur main road, a speeding pick-up van collided head-on with his bike killing Anita Kumari on spot and injuring Subi Kumari and Rahul Kumar. Subi Kumari succumbed to her injuries at Sadar Hospital, Ara, during treatment.
