Ara : Bhojpur police recovered two lovebirds from Pandesara in Gujarat after two years and brought them over to Ara on September 10, 2018. Both said that they are husband and wife and have two children. Police brought the girl to Sadar Hospital, Ara, for medical examination and will produce her before the court to get her statement recorded  under Section 164 of CrPC.

Station House Officer, Nawada police station, Subodh Kumar, said that Nitish Bhashar Pandey of village Sohara  under Gaurichak police station in Patna district lived at Maulabadh under Nawada police station about 12 years ago at a rented house. He came in contact a girl living in the neighbourhood and both developed love affairs and in 2016, they fled away from the house and reached Pandesara in Gajarat where they tied knot at a temple and have a son and a daughter.

The SHO said that in 2016, the father of the girl had lodged an FIR against Nitish Bhaskar Pandey charging him with  kidnapping his daughter and police was searching for him but in vain. He said that a writ petition was filed in the Patna High Court in this regard and the court took cognizance and directed police to recover the girl by September 12, 2018.

On the direction of the court, police once again swung into action and came to know that the girl was living at Pandesara in Gujarat. A police team was sent there and Bhojpur police, with the help of their Gujarat counterpart, conducted raid at a rented house and arrested the girl and Nitish Bhaskar Pandey and brought them over to Ara.
