Two killed in separate accidents in Buxar

Buxar : One person was killed while two others were seriously injured when a speeding truck coming from Ara rammed the motorcycle they were riding from behind near Majharia village on Ara-Buxar main road  under Industrial police station in Buxar district on February 1 evening.

Later, police brought the body to Buxar Sadar Hospital and admitted the injured there. Police also arrested the driver  and seized the truck.  SHO Industrial police station said that Munna Ali of Majharia village under Industrial police station was going somewhere with his friends Rajesh Kumar and Raja Kumar on his motorcycle when a speeding truck from Ara dashed the motorcycle from behind killing Munna Ali on the spot and injured Rajesh Kumar and Raja Kumar.
In another incident, a teenage girl was crushed to death by a speeding Scorpio on Dumraon-Birakmganj main road under Basudeo police outpost in Buxar district on February 1 evening. Later,police brought the body to Buxar Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
SHO, Basudeo police outpost, Ashok Kumar said that Rupa Kumari of Basudeva village was crossing the road when a speeding Scorpio crushed her to death on the spot and the driver escaped with the vehicle after the incident.
