Two killed in separate accident in Saharsa

Saharsa : Two persons died in separate accidents under Saur Bazaar and Bangaon police stations in Saharsa district on March 3, 2017.  A speeding ambulance dashed a native of village Basudeva under Bangaon police station Kusheshwar Mukhia near Bariahi Primary health centre (PHC). The driver escaped with the ambulance after the accident.

The villagers rushed a seriously Mukhia to Saharsa Sadar hospital where the doctors referred him to Darbhanga Medical College Hospital (DMCH) but he succumbed to his injuries while being taken to Darbhanga. The villagers blocked Saharsa – Supaul road to protest the incident  paralysing the traffic for several hours. Later, police and district administration officials pacified the people and removed the blockade.

In another incident, a native of village Ajgeba under Saaur Bazaar police station Nago Yadav died on the spot after a pick-up van rammed him near Garhisthan when he was going to the temple on March 3 morning. The driver escaped with the van.

Pulkit Yadav, a native of village Chandaur under Saur Bazaar police station who was seriously injured after a speeding bike dashed him near Saur Bazaar block office, on March 2, 2017, morning, died the same night at Saharsa Sadar hospital.
