Patna: Two persons including a girl were killed while another sustained serious injuries when an auto collided with a parked tractor on NH-98 near village Patnawa under Jamhore police station in Aurangabad district on January 22. The injured youth was referred to PMCH by the attending doctors.

Pammi alias Puja, daughter of Raman Prasad of Gandhinagar under Town police station,  0Aurangabad, reached Anugrah Narayan Road Station in Aurangabad in the wee hours on Sunday by Buddha Poornima Express from Varanasi where she had gone to appear at an examination. She along with her brother took an auto to reach Aurangabad.

As the three-wheeler reached near village Patnawa, the auto-driver tried to stop his three-wheeler seeing a tractor parked on the road. However, a vehicle coming from behind dashed against the auto, which collided with the parked tractor. Such was the impact of the collision that the auto-driver Jitendra Yadav and Pammi were thrown some distance away. On getting information, Jamhore police reached the spot and admitted the injured to Aurangabad Sadar Hospital where the auto driver Jitendra Yadav and Pammi succumbed to their injuries. The girl’s brother Raushan was referred to PMCH by the doctors. Both the bodies were handed over to their relatives after the autopsy.
