Muzaffarpur : Two persons died on the spot while six others were seriously injured when a Scorpio they were travelling by dashed the railing of Motipur overbridge on Muzaffarpur – Motihari NH 28 under Motipur police station in Muzaffarpur district around 11 pm on April 5, 2017, night, after the driver lost control over the vehicle.
The deceased included the driver of Scorpio. SHO, Motipur police station, Anil Kumar Yadav, reached the spot with force soon after the mishap and rushed the injured to Sri Krishna Medical College Hospital (SKMCH), Muzaffarpur, on police vehicle. The Scorpio occupants were returning from Motipur with a bride married about two months back to a Madhuban, East Champaran, boy. Daughter of Motipur Sanda Dumbar resident Ramsogarth Rai, she was returning to her in-laws’s place at Madhuban with her husband. The couple are among those injured.
