Two killed, 2 injured in firing at Kaimur village

Bhabhua : Two persons of a family including a woman were killed while two others were seriously injured in a shootout at village Mubarakpur under Mohania police station in Kaimur district in the wee hour on September 9, 2017. The injured were admitted to Bhabhua Sadar Hospital but the doctors referred them to Varanasi. Love affair is said to be the reason behind the incident.

Tension prevails in and around the village following the incident. Kaimur DM and SP along with other senior officials of the district rushed to the spot and are camping there. An FIR has been lodged with the police but no arrest has so far been made in this regard.

SHO, Mohania police station, said a girl had married a boy of another religion that infuriated her family members. In the wee hour on September 9, eight armed persons entered the house of Kamal Chaudhary at village Mubarakpur and fired indiscriminately on his family members killing Kamal Chaudhary and his wife on the spot while their two daughters were seriously injured and admitted to the Bhabhua Sadar Hospital where the doctors there referred them to Varanasi.
