Two killed, 1 injured in Gaya accident

Patna : Two bike rider died when a speeding ambulance hit their bike and overturned on Gaya-Wazirganj NH82 in Gaya district at 8 am on July 19, 2018. Upendra Das, 30, and Ramu Das, 35, were admitted to Anugrah Narrain Magadh Medical College Hospital (ANMCH), Gaya, where they succumbed to their injuries. Both the deceased were residents of Margawan village under Wazirganj police station. One person was injured in the accident.

The ambulance was travelling from Nawada to Gaya whereas the bike was coming from the opposite direction from Gaya. The bodies were sent for post-mortem, according SHO, Wazirganj police station. The driver of the ambulance managed to escape, sources said.
