Motihari : Two persons were injured in indiscriminate firing by four criminals riding two bikes at the gate of Cambridge Public School, Laxmipur, Raxaul, in East Champaran district, at 10.55 am on July 3, 2017, creating panic in the area.

SHO, Raxaul, Police Station, Ugranath Jha, said that police were yet to ascertain the reasons behind the firing. The SHO, however, did not rule out the possibility that it could be the result of dispute between present and previous management of the school. He said that the driver and conductor of the school bus were injured in the firing. The SHO said that they were talking with the school security guard near the school gate when the four criminals reached there and started firing. He said that the criminals fired six rounds. The SHO said police were yet to arrest any criminal involved in firing.

Cambridge Public School, Raxaul, is a CBSE affiliated school established in 2010. Raxaul is located on Indo-Nepal border.
