Patna : Bihar Government on October 25, 2019, promoted two IAS officers to the Joint Secretary rank. The General Administration Department issued a notification to this effect the same day.
Aditya Prakash, a 2014 batch IAS officer and Deputy Development Commissioner cum Chief Executive Officer, has been promoted o the Joint Secretary rank with effect from August 19, 2019, while Sawan Kumar, a 205 batch IAS officer and City Commissioner, Gaya, has been promoted to the Joint Secretary rank with effect from January 1, 2019. The post of City Commissioner, Gaya, has been upgraded to the rank of Joint Secretary.
