Two girls drown to death in Sitamarhi

Sitamarhi: Two girls Soni Kumari (11) and Aarti Kumari (12) drowned to death while taking bath in the branch canal of river Lakhandei at village Sonbarsa under Bathanaha police station in Sitamarhi district on Tuesday. The villagers rescued another girl and she was admitted Sitamarhi Sadar hospital. The water level of the river was high because of
incessant rain in its catchment area in Nepal recently. The local officials visited the place of occurrence after the incident. After post-mortem, the bodies were handed over to the family members.
