Patna : Police on April 9, 2017, morning arrested two contract killers : Man Mohan Jha, 28, and Naman Jha, 21, from Bailey Road, Patna, in connection with murder of a departmental store owner Sumit Jha, 25, on March 24, 2017. SHO, Shastrinagar police station, R K Yadav, said that the two had been given Rs 4 lakh allegedly by a notorious criminal Manoranjan Giri, a named accused in Sumit Jha murder case. Both Man Mohan and Naman are being interrogated and will be sent to jail on April 10, he said.

The were SHO said that police arrested Man Mohan and Naman around 9 am on April 9 through tracking of their mobile phones. Police also seized two pistols from their possession. The SHO attributed Sumit Jha’s murder to gang warfare as Man Mohan, Naman and Manoranjan Giri  hail from Samastipur district to which Sumit also belonged. The SHO said Sumit’s father was also a criminal who was killed in a gang war.
