Sitamarhi : Sitamarhi police on June 20, 2018, cracked the case of murder of District Welfare Officer ( incharge SC and ST affairs), Sitamarhi, Shubha Narian Dutta, by arresting two criminals.
SP Vikas Burman said Arun Bharat and Subhash Jha have been arrested in connection with murder of Shubh Narain Dutta and more arrests likely. Nine criminal cases are pending against Arun Bharat. Further investigation is underway, said SP Burman.
Shubha Narian Dutta was shot dead on May 31, 2018, near his residence in Kailashpuri locality when he was was returning from evening walk. the slain District Welfare Officer was a native of Basopatti in Madhubani district.
