Ara : Two ANMs and a Sweeper of Ara Sadar Hospital in Bhojpur District have tested positive to Coronavirus (COVID-19) on May2, 2020, evening. The two ANMs are residents of Sakaddi under Koelwar police station, and Hanuman Tola under Ara Town police station. Bhojpur district administration admitted them to the isolation ward at Ara Sadar Hospital but later they were referred to Patna.
The two infected ANMs and sweeper had come in contact with a General Nurse & Midwife (GNM) of Ara Sadar Hospital who was detected Coronavirus positive earlier. The GNM had come in contact with a Coronavirus positive youth of Rampur village under Krishnagarh police station under Barhara block in Bhojpur village when he was admitted to Ara Sadar Hospital on April 18, 2020. The youth had come to his native village from New Delhi via Kanpur and Balia in Uttar Pradesh.
One GNM and a sweeper of Ara Sadar Hospital tested Coronavirus positive a week ago and the samples of all the doctors and medical staffs were sent to Patna for pathological test. The doctors and medical staffs were also quarantined till the pathological test report came.
