Patna : Two 1995 batch IAS officers : Arvind Kumar Chaudhary, Secretary, Rural Development Department, and Vijaylaxmi N, Secretary, Animal & Fisheries Resources Department, were on December 26, 2019, promoted to the rank of Principal Secretary ( Higher Administrative Grade) with effect from January 1, 2020. Bihar Government has upgraded their present posts to the rank of Principal Secretary till their tenure. The General Administration Department on December 26 issued a notification to this effect.
