Patna : World No 210 in ATP rankings Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, 33, France, and World No 44 Pierre-Hugues Herbert, 27, France, will clash in the final of Open Sud de France, an ATP World Tour 250 points tennis tournament, at Montpellier, France, on February 10, 2019. Tsonga, a 2008 Australian Open finalist, has reached the final of this tournament for the first time. Earlier, he had lost in the semi-finals thrice.

Tsonga reached the final this year beating World No 90 Radu Albot, 29, Moldova, in straight sets 6-1, 6-3 in the second semi-finals in 1 hour and 9 minute on February 9, 2019, late night. Tsonga served 7 Aces in the match to just 1 by Albot. He also won 5 break points to just 1 by Albot. Both the players committed 3 double faults each in the match. Tsonga won 4 games in a row to 2 by Albot.

Herbert reached the final defeating World No 79 Tomas Berdych, 33, Czech Republic, in the first semi-finals 6-2, 7-5 on February 9.
