Patna : Third seed Stefanos Tsitsipas, 21, Greece, and 4th seed Roberto Bautista Agut, 31, Spain, World No 37 Reilly Opelka, 22, USA, World No 49 Radu Albot, 29, Moldova, and World N0 64 Richard Gasquet, 33, France, have entered the second round of Swiss Indoors Basel, Basel, Switzerland.

World No 7 Tsitsipas beat World No 42 Albert Ramos-Vinolas, 31, Spain, 6-3, 7-6 in 1 hr 33 minutes in first round on October 22, 2019, evening. Tsitsipas won 2 break points to 1 by Vinolas. He won 3 games in a row in the match to 2 by the Spaniard. Tsitsipas won 51 service points to 38 by Vinolas. The Greek fired 4 Aces in the match to 3 by the Spaniard.

World No 10 Agut beat World No 82 Marius Copil, 29, Romania, 6-4, 7-5 in first round winning 2 break points in the match on October 23, 2019. Copil though fired 16 Aces in the match to 2 by Agut, who won 3 games in a row.

Opelka beat  World No 38 Cristian Garin, 23, Chile, in a tough contest 7-6, 7-6 in first round on October 22, 2019, night. Opelka hammered 27 Aces in the match to only 2 by Garin. Opelka also won 2 games in a row in the match. He won 66 service points to 63  by Garin.

Albot edged past World No 33 Dusan Lajovic, 29, Serbia, in  three-sets 2-6, 6-3, 6-4 to enter 2nd round. Both the players won 2 break points each in the match. Both of them also won 3 games each in a row in the match. Lajovic though fired 8 Aces to 1 by Albot.

Gasquet beat World No 52 Juan Ignacio Londero, 26, Argentina, 6-1, 7-6 to enter the 2nd round winning 2 break points in the match. Gasquet fired 12 Aces in the match to 2 by Londero besides winning 5 games in a row.
