Ara : Khalasi of a truck was killed near Hanuman temple under Koelwar police station on Chandi-Sakaddi main road in Bhojpur district on June 18, 2020, night, i s a road mishap. The deceased was identified as Prince Kumar, 19, son of Rishidevo Kumar Singh of Jeevarakhan Tola, Darveshpur village, under Maner police station in Patna district.
SHO, Koelwar police station, said that Prince Kumar loaded sand on the truck from the sand ghat under Sahar police station on June 18 night and was going to Chhapra the same night. He was peeping through the window of the truck when a speeding truck, in its bid to overtake the truck he was sitting in, rubbed his head killing him on the spot.
After the incident, the driver of the truck escaped from the scene leaving the truck behind. Police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem on June 19, 2020, morning.
