Truck driver shot dead at sand ghat in Bhojpur

Ara : Six armed criminals looted 6 trucks after making the drivers captive and injuring them. When one of the truck drivers Raj Kishore of village Barbatta in Jehanabad district dared oppose them, the miscreants shot him dead at Babura Mor under Barhara police station in Bhojpur district around midnight on March 29, 2018, and escaped. Police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem on March 30 and also admitted the injured drivers there.

One of the injured truck drivers Ram Ji said that all of them had come to load sand from the sand ghat at Babura when the incident took place. The injured drivers said at Ara Sadar Hospital that the government had deputed police force at the sand ghat yet such incident occurred.
