Patna: Tremors shook Bihar capital Patna and different parts Bihar and neighbouring Jharkhand on Wednesday. Earthwquake effects were felt at 4.15 pm as residents came out of their houses. Tremors shook buildings at Patna, Bhagalpur, Munger, Purnia, Banka and Khagaria twice in quick intervals. The people Ranchi,Bokaro and Deoghar also felt tremors. Panic stricken people rushed out of their offices at Patna and elsewheretoo.Telephonic calls received from West Bengal said even in Kolkatta too quake took place. It was measured at 6.8 on Richter scale.
