Trader shot dead at Gadhani Bazaar in Bhojpur

Ara : Some unidentified armed miscreants shot dead a sweetmeat shop owner Satranj Singh at Gadhani Bazaar under Gadhani police station in Bhojpur district on July 19, 2018, and escaped. Personal enmity is said to be the cause behind the incident. Police brought the body over to Sadar Hospital, Ara, for post-mortem. An FIR has been lodged with Gadhani police station but no arrest has so far been made in this regard.

SHO, Gadhani police station, Shamim Ahamad said that  three motorcycle borne armed miscreants attacked the sweetmeat shop ‘Maa Bhawani’ of Satranj Singh at Gadhani Bazaar under Gadhani police station when he was sitting there and pumped four bullets into his body killing him on spot. The deceased was son of Awadh Narayan Singh of village Itaur under Charpokhari police station in Bhojpur district.
