Patna : Bike borne criminals shot at and injured a trader Dharmendra Kumar in Mangal Talav locality underĀ  City Chowk ps under Patna City sub-division and looted Rs 25,000 cash from him on September 22, 2018, late evening. A seriously injured Dharmendra was admitted to a local hospital where his condition is stated to be serious.

Panic prevailed in Mangal Talav locality when motorcycle borne criminals looted a bag containing Rs 25,000 cash from Dharmendra on pistol point near a biscuit factory at around 9.45 pm. When the trader resisted them, they fired at him and escaped. The trader was first admitted to Guru Govind Singh Hospital from where he was referred to PMCH. However, his relatives admitted him to a private nursing home.

Dharmendra (31) is a resident of Lal Imli locality and deals in thread trade. The incident took place when he was on way to his house on his bike after closing his shop in Macharhatta. As he reached near a biscuit factory, two youth riding a bike, overtook him and tried to snatch the bag containing the cash. When Dharmendra resisted their attempt, criminals fired at him and after snatching the bag sped away from there.
