Bokaro (Jharkhand) : A leading Tent house owner of Bokaro Steel City Jagmohan Singh alias Jaggi, who stays at Chas township, has filed a criminal case  against former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bokaro Steel Plant Anutosh Maitra and Deputy General Manager (hospitality) Ajay Kumar for cheating him of Rs 30 lakh which he had given to the officers in three installments between July 12  and November 10, 2012, which till date had not been returned to him.

The case was filed against the duo with Bokaro Steel City police station on April 14, 2017, evening  alleging that he gave the money to Ajay Kumar, who received it on behalf of the CEO, whom he knew (Ajay Kumar) for the last 42 years, allegedly for buying furniture  and other precious things for the marriage of former CEO’s daughter about which the CEO was aware. After the marriage when  he asked back for his money from Ajay Kumar, he conveyed his demand to the CEO of which he has the mobile phone records. Jaggi even wrote two letters to Maitra on May 6 and May 26, 2014, and even lodged complaints with the SAIL board and even to the CBI.

Jaggi, in his complaint, said that he has even filed a case in Ranchi High court which is pending  but in th meantime as per his lawyer’s advise he has lodged a complaint with the local police station  for necessary action. City police station OC M M Prasad stated that  the complaint had been  lodged and investigation was being done as per rules.
