Trader arrested in Rohtas with 1,200 fake phials of ‘Pudin Hara’

Sasaram : Rohtas police arrested a businessman Saroj Prasad, son of Nanhak Prasad, from Nasariganj Bazaar on March 10, 2018, along with 1,200 phials of  fake ‘Pudin Hara’ of Dabur Company besides 10,000 fake stickers of the company.

Gopal Jha, Marketing Officer, Dabur Company, said that he got information that fake Pudin Hara is being manufactured and supplied in the market for the last several months and Nanhak Prasad was allegedly the brain behind it. He contacted the Rohtas police who conducted raids at Nasariganj Bazaar and seized 1,200 phials of fake Pudin Hara and 10, 000 stickers of Dabur Company to be pasted on the phials. Nanhak Prasad managed to give the slip to police.

SHO, Nasariganj police station, Samrat Singh said that Saroj Prasad spilled the beans regarding the fake business of Pudin Hara and also revealed the names of businessmen linked with it. He said that police had seized fake Pudin Hara of Dabur Company worth about Rs 8 lakh a year ago too and had arrested two persons in this regard.
