Tirhut Com. releases website, logo of Champaran Satyagrah centenary

Muzaffarpur : Commissioner, Tirhut Division, Atul Prasad, on February 20, 2017, launched the logo and website of Champaran Satyagrah centenary programme in the presence of district magistrates (DMs) of six districts under the division. The website will provide rare photographs of Mahatma Gandhi and information related to him.

During the programme a ramp show would be held at Muzaffarpur and Laser show at Motihari, headquarters of East Champaran district in North Bihar, according to Prasad. All the government documents will carry logo of the centenary programme, an year long programme. Apart from that use of Khadi cloths would also be promoted. The state government’s `Saat Nishchay’ ( seven resolves) would be implemented at all the places which Mahatma Gandhi visited during his Champaran Satyagrah, according to Prasad.
