Bagaha : A Royal Bengal tiger killed a labourer identified as Sohan Mahto, 42, of village Bagahi under Gobardhana police station in Bagaha police district, on September 23, 2019, night, after sneaking into Gobardhana Forest under Valmiki Tiger Reserve (VTR).
Sources said that the deceased was watching trees planted under MNREGA Scheme at Rambag Bagahi Kutti when the Tiger chasing a deer reached there and killed him leaving behind the body. Gobardhana Forest Range Officer, VTR, Rahimuddin Ahmad brought over the body over to Bagaha for autopsy on September 24, 2019.
