Ara : Three youth of Mahadalit community were beaten and injured when they went to a temple to take Prasad at village Badakagaon  under Gajrajganj police outpost in Bhojpur District in South Bihar.

The injured were identified as Ravi Ranjan Paswan, Amarjeet Paswan, and Ravi Kishan of village Chowkipur. The injured were admitted to Ara Sadar Hospital. A named FIR was lodged with Gajrajganj police outpost against four persons of village Badakagaon on the statement of one of the injured Ravi Ranjan Paswan. Police are investigating the matter.

SHO Gajrajganj police outpost, quoting the FIR,  said that Ravi Ranjan Paswan, Amarjeet Paswan, and Ravi Kishan of Chowkipur village had gone to Shanichar Baba temple at village Badkagaaon to take Prasad when four youth of the village started thrashing Amarjeet Paswan and Ravi Ranjan Paswan with iron rods and rifle butt and when Ravi Kishan protested, the miscreants hit on his head. Later, the villagers rushed the injured to Ara Sadar Hospital.
