Saharsa : Three suspected Coronavirus patients admitted to Isolation Ward of Saharsa Sadar Hospital three days back for allegedly attending Tablighi Jammat meeting in Delhi recently created unruly scene at the hospital on April 6, 2020, and even misbehaved with nurses on duty and demanded non-veg Biriyani. Saharsa District Administration had identified the three persons and brought them over to Saharsa Sadar Hospital from Sonbarsaraj Block of the district.
SDPO, Saharsa, Prabhakar Tiwary, and SHO, Sadar Police Station, Rakesh Kumar Singh, rushed to the Isolation Ward of the hospital with force after getting information about the high voltage drama there from Hospital Manager and Nurses. SDPO Tiwary told the three persons that they would have to stay put at the hospital till their medical reports are received. If their reports are found negative, they would be released and dropped at their respective places. The SDPO told the three persons that their stay at the hospital was in their interest as well as that of the society. Police sources said that the three persons had returned to their villages from Delhi via Siwan.
SPPO Tieary and SHO Singh also spoke to the nurses and other hospital employees while inquiring into the incident.The nurses on duty informed police that the three persons had threatened them with dire consequence if they were not released at the earliest and even threatened to make their videos. The three persons, on the other hand, claimed that they were not suffering from any disease and were kept at the hospital forcibly.
