Three persons killed, 2 injured in Rohtas accident

Sasaram : Three persons were killed and two others were injured when an ambulance collided head on with a truck near Kanchanpur Lerua under Muffassil police station on NH 2 at Sasaram in Rohtas district on December 29, 2018. Police brought the bodies to Sasaram Sadar Hospital for post-mortem and admitted the injured there. The condition of the injured is stated to be critical.

SHO, Muffassil police station, said that some persons from Kachch in Gujarat were going to Dhanbad in Jharkhand with a body in an ambulance. When they reached near Kanchanpur Lerua petrol pump under Muffassil police station, the ambulance collided head-on with a truck in which three persons sitting in the ambulance: Shamim Ahmad, Seraj Ahmad, and Sajan Ahmad of Govinddih village under Varvanda police station in Dhanbad district in Jharkhand, were killed on the spot while the driver of the ambulance Prabhujeet Thakur and Raju Thakur of Gandhidham in Gujarat were injured.
