Ranchi (Jharkhand) : Three naxalites were killed in an early morning encounter with a joint security team of West Singhbhum, Khunti, and CRPF in Riyardakala hilly zone under Gudri police station in West Singhbhum District in Jharkhand on April 4, 2020.
The security personnel shot dead 3 naxalites and seized arms and ammunition before the rest of the rebels escaped taking advantage of the topography of the area. The bodies are yet to be identified. Massive search operations are being carried in the entire zone.
Senior IPS officer and police spokesperson Saket Singh confirmed the news informing that early morning search operations were being carried out when hiding naxalites started firing and the alert cops retaliated in a big way killing three of them. Countrymade arms and ammunition besides naxal literature has been seized.
