Three naxalites killed in encounter with police in Gaya

Gaya : Three naxalites were killed in an encounter with police in Chakarabandh forest area in Gaya district in Bihar on July 25, 2019. The encounter between the Naxalites and a joint team of the CRPF’s Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA) team and district police took place around July 25 noon in Chakarabandh area of the district. Gaya town is 107 km away from Patna.

Security forces seized seven guns including an AK-47 and three INSAS rifles, and some improvised explosive devices (IEDs) from the place of occurrence after the encounter. After the encounter, bodies of three Maoists were found on the spot, police sources said. Security forces are thoroughly searching the area.
