Three killed in separate incidents in Bhojpur

Ara: A speeding Pick up van ran over two middleage women on Thursday morning near Kayamnagar under Koelwar police station on  Ara – Patna main road. Dharmshila Devi, 48, wife of Gopal Prasad, was killed on the spot while Lalmani Devi, 50, wife of Mahendra Rawat, was seriosly injured. Later, police brought the body to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. Police also admitted the injured there.
In protest against the incident, an irate mob of villagers blocked Ara -Patna main road for about three hours. The blockade was lifted after the BDO gave a cheque of Rs 20,000 to the family members of the deceased.
Two crushed by train:  In another incident, one Ramshekhar Yadav and an unidentified persons were crushed to death under the wheel of a speeding train near Ramanand Tiwari halt under Danapur rail division on Thursday afternoon. Later, police brought the bodies to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
