Sitamarhi: The accidents caused due dense fog claimed three lives in Sitamarhi district on January 1, 2017. In an accident near village Gaighat on NH77 under Runnisaidpur block two youth: Ajit Kumar, 18, and Vikas Kumar, 20, lost their lives in a collision between their motorbike and an unknown heavy vehicle.
In yet another collision between an autorickshaw and a sugarcane laden tractor-trolley near village Gaurapipra under Majorganj police station one Kiran Devi, 42, lost her life while three other auto passengers sustained serious injuries. She was the resident of village Sahiyara. After post-mortem at Sadar hospital all thebodies were handed over to the family members. The Majorganj police have seized the autorickshaw and tractor-trolley.
