Motihari : Three persons were killed on July 7, 2021, early morning,when a jeep carrying daily news papers collided head on with a speeding truck coming from opposite direction on NH 28A near village Chhagraha under Sugauli police station (PS) in East Champaran District in North Bihar.
All the occupants of the jeep including driver were killed on the spot and the bundles of newspapers were thrown on the road. The jeep carrying newspapers was on way to Bettiah from Motihari , headquartwrs of East Champaran District, in early morning.
Sugauli police reached the spot and sent the three bodies to Motihari Sadar Hospital for post- mortem. The deceased were latter identified as Guddu Kumar of Bhagwanpur in Muzaffarpur District, Madan Pandey of Bettiah in West Champaran District, and Nasaruddin Sheikh
of Jhumka in West Champaran District. Police have lodged a case in this connection. The truck sped away towards Motihari after the incident.
