Hajipur ( Vaishali) : Death of three persons in separate incidents at Dharmapur and Mahathi villages under Tisiauta police station (PS) in Vaishali District in North Bihar on December 4, 2021, night, allegedly after consuming hooch, has shocked the locals. Kin of one the deceased alleged that his relative had consumed liquor on December 4 night following which his condition started deteriorating resulting in his death.
There is, however, no official confirmation that the three persons died after consuming hooch. The Circle Inspector Shradhanand Suman told a channel that there were allegations that the three persons had died after consuming hooch. He said that the matter would be investigated. Bihar Government had enforced Prohibition in the state in April 2016.
