Bokaro (Jharkhand) : The three- day National Art Camp cum Workshop ‘Navachar’ at DPS Bokaro, Jharkhand, concluded on December 22, 2021, with a colourful exhibition of the creative masterpieces bythe artists and the students.The camp began on December 20, 2021, as a part of the celebration ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’.
To widen the artistic perspective of the budding artists, the workshop was organised by DPS Bokaro in association with ONGC and India Telling.
Renowned artists from across the country including Kishore Kumar, Umesh Kumar, Sarika Kumari, Pinki Kumari, Sunil Modi, Anil Kumar Gope, Amitav Chaterjee, Abhilasha Singh, and Kamini Kanta Swain, demonstrated their artwork live and fine-tuned the students who participated at the camp from across Bokaro. All the participants were felicitated with certificates.
The concluding ceremony was graced by A S Gangwar, Principal, DPS Bokaro, who stated that such workshops add to the perspectives of the promising artists. “We have always found the objective of holistic development foremost. Such workshops provide an opportunity to the young talents to express themselves and create their own legacy.”
The vote of thanks was proposed by Anushka Singh, Cultural Secretary. The exhibition was an event to behold with viewers all around.
