Chas (Jharkhand) : The three- day Art festival ‘Aakaar’ concluded at DPS Chas in Bokaro District in Jharkhand on November 9, 2019. The students from eighteen schools participated at the event under the guidance of experts. The stalls of eighteen schools exhibited the artistic flavour mesmerising the visitors.

Md. Shakir, Principal District & Sessions Judg, was the Chief Guest on the concluding while day of Art fest ‘Aakaar’ began by welcoming chief guest Md. Shakir, Principal District & Session Judge, Bokaro, while Nitin Kumar, legal advisor, ONGC, Navneet Kumar, ONGC, Suresh Agarwal, Secretary, D S Memorial Society Chas, were Special Guests. They were welcomed by Principal DPS Chas Neelkamal Sinha. Welcoming the guests, Principal DPS Chas Neelkamal Sinha said that every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain a Artist once we grow up, she added.

Chief Guest Md. Shakir Ahmad, Principal District & Sessions Judge, said that artists can very well express their emotions through their creation. He added that such exhibitions provide  platform for the students to enrich their ideas and add new dimension to their art. The successful participants were facilitated by the Chief guests and dignitaries. The vote of thanks was proposed by the Head Mistress – Rashmi Sinha.

3Rd – Amitesh Ranjan Class – IX BOKARO PUBLIC SCHOOL

Senior Category :       1ST – Srishti Singh Class – XI DPS BOKARO

2nd – Nishant Kumar Class – X DPS CHAS

3Rd – Shruti Kumari Class – X S.V.M SECTOR – III
