Three arrested with arms for hijacking a truck carrying paddy seeds

Ara: Eight miscreants on a Scorpio hijacked a truck loaded with paddy seeds worth about Rs 50 lakh on Ara-Mohania main road NH 30 under Dhangai police station in Bhojpur district on Sunday. The SHO Dhangai police station said that a truck of Manik Chand Patel carrying paddy seeds from Madhya Pradesh was going to Utter Pradesh. When it was passing through Bhojpur district and reached an area under Dhangai police station on Ara-Mohania main road NH 30,  eight armed miscreants on a Scorpio intercepted the truck and made the driver captive and hijacked the truck. The miscreants threw the driver by the roadside and took away the truck. But, they had hardly gone about 1 km when  police seized the truck near Jagdishpur under the same police station and arrested three miscreants with firearms though the rest managed to escape.
