Patna : Top seed & World No 4 Dominic Thiem, Austria, beat World N0 69 Albert Ramos-Vinolas, 31, Spain,  in straight sets in the final to lift the singles title at Austrian Open at Kitzbuhel, Austria, on August 3, 2019. Thiem defeated Vinolas 7-6, 6-1 in 1 hr 38 minutes in the final lift the title.

Thiem won 2 break points to none by the Spaniard, who had won Swiss Open title on July 28, 2019. Thiem fired 4 Aces in the match to 1 by Vinolas. Thiem also won 5 games in a row in the match. The Austrian won 52 service points to 33 by the Spaniard.
