They do not disclose where the money for the jobs will come from. Those making claims must also have some experience of governance and some understanding of state issues.”
Nitish said, “We listen to the problems of the people and solve them. We introduced Prohibition in the state and the results show that it has benefitted the people. I also told the United Nations about the Jal-Jeevan -Hariyali scheme of the government is based on the ideal of Mahatma Gandhi. I impressed on United Nations that the earth has enough resources to meet the needs of all but not enough to satisfy greed.”
In a caustic attack on governance in RJD regime, Nitish termed the situation in Bihar during the period akin to Jungle Raj. He said, “There were no roads, no electricity it was total jungle raj. But today, every house hold has electricity, every village is connected with roads and there is the rule of law in Bihar.”

Highlighting the improved law and order situation in Bihar, Nitish, at a rally in Rafiganj said, “Because of the Kidnaping industry that grew in Bihar in RJD regime, many doctors and business men were forced to leave the state and look for opportunities elsewhere. But after my government took over, things have changed, everybody feels secure.”
Nitish promised the people in Tekari rally to look into the demands for setting up new districts, sub-divisions and extension of blocks. He said, “For the last, 15 years we have been engaged in different works. We know people want new districts, sub- divisions and extension of blocks. We will look into the issue.”
Addressing a meeting at Tetua in Atri assembly constituency Nitish said, “Dailts have been used by other for their political gains. But all this stopped once we took over governance in Bihar. We gave Dalits the respect that was due to them. We decided that there will be zero tolerance for crime, corruption and communalism.”

Addressing another poll meeting in Ghoshi constituency in Jehanabad district, Nitish said, “People say, we only worked in the first five years. If we had only worked for the first five years, would the electricity and roads have reached every village?” He assured people that development which is inclusive of justice shall remain his one and only agenda. “I promise that if voted to power this time, we will bring irrigation water to every farm. We would construct Bypasses and new roads in cities and villages in such a way that for the next 50
years, people would not have to worry about them,” he said.
