Texas Governor Abbot calls on PM Modi

New Delhi : Greg Abbott, Governor of the State of Texas, USA, who is currently on a trade mission to India, called on PM Narendra Modi on March 28, 2018.

Noting the strong growth in India-US strategic partnership, Prime Minister Modi underscored the importance of growing linkages with Texas in the fields of trade and commerce, energy, industry, education and people-to-people contact. The two dignitaries agreed to further strengthen these ties, according to a PIB release.

Governor Abbott expressed appreciation for the contribution of people of Indian origin living in Texas to his State and to the United States.
