Ara : A case of repeated rape of a teenage girl by a youngman at a village under Krishangarh police station in Bhojpur District has come out of closet after the girl became four months pregnant. A named FIR was lodged with Women’s police station, Ara, against accused Sunil Kumar of a village under Bihia police station in Bhojpur District on the statement of the father of the girl.
Bhojpur SP Vinay Tiwari said that Sunil Kumar had come to his relative at a village under Krishnagarh police station on April 24, 2021, where a teenage girl was all alone at the house as her parents had gone out. Taking advantage of the situation, Sunil Kumar outraged modesty of the girl threatening her with dire consequences if she dared reveal anything to anyone.
The fear stricken girl did not tell anything to her parents when they returned. Emboldened by the silence of the girl, Sunil Kumar continued to rape her frequently till she became pregnant. He also threatened to her to kill her and her parents if she disclosed the matter before them. When the girl got pregnant, the matter came to light. Her family members went to Sunil Kumar to inquire about it but he abused and threatened them with dire consequences and dragged them out of his house. The girl’s parents then went to the Women’s police station and lodged a named FIR against Sunil Kumar.
The SP stated that the accused is absconding and added that police are conducting raids to arrest Sunil Kumar.
